I spent a relatively enjoyable, though somewhat disappointing, game session with the Sunday gaming group yesterday.

The two players, Tammy and SteveR, are currently working on getting ready to start their Coriolis – The Third Horizon RPG campaign, but still had some stuff to finish up on their characters. You can read about the previous session

SteveR and Tammy arrived at my place around 1:05 pm, and after we relaxed and chatted for about 10 minutes, I announced that it was time to start the game session. I had actually thought we would get around to actually playing the game, but such was not to be the case.

After going over the work they had done on character creation again, and making sure that all their equipment was recorded properly, Tammy and SteveR decided to ask some questions, and they also wanted an overview (in some detail) about the universe of the Third Horizon, and the culture(s) that are found there. Once I started going through the information they wanted, they had questions about various aspects of the material, Tammy in particular (but that’s a good thing).

Suffice to say, by the time 5:00 pm rolled around, I was a bit hoarse, but all of their questions and interests in certain elements of the cultures found in the Third Horizon were answered.

Overall, I was a little let down by the Sunday session of Coriolis – The Third Horizon, as I had hoped to actually start the game campaign itself, and ended up going through a third session of what felt like character creation. In any event, I really hope that I get to start the Sunday campaign next weekend.
